First Solar is investing $684 million in a fully vertically integrated photovoltaic thin film solar module manufacturing facility in Chennai with a capacity of 3.3 gigawatts and is expected to commence operations in the second half of 2023. SierraThermal, Inc. has been entrusted with supplying furnaces to the plant and we, at Synergistix, have secured the project management contract to assist SierraThermal, Inc. with the installation and commissioning of the furnaces along with providing logistical support for the duration of the project.
